Fire Safety Advisor Course for Assisting in Distress

Fire Safety Advisor Course is aimed at preparing you to combat emergency situations. Fire is dangerous and it gets multiplied under panic. This panic or fear is significantly reduced when there is some body that is able to keep calm under such a situation and think and act fast. This course not only helps is fighting fire literally but also control panic and disaster.

Fire Safety Advisor Course has both practical and theoretical components that are mandatory. Fire extinguisher training – This portion of the course is done using portable fire extinguishers. After completing this training you understand the importance of installing such equipments in your work place or home and the correct way of using them.

Breathing apparatus training – BA training is specifically meant for learning to use these apparatus in homes and work places. This becomes particularly helpful for escaping from smoky environments.

Spill response training – Spills of hazardous liquids might cause considerable damages to human life, animals, plants, and properties.

Removal of these chemicals from an accident site is o be done in a safe manner such that it causes no harm to anyone present. Spill response materials are used for these purposes.

Evacuation exercise – This lesson in Fire Safety Advisor Course is conducted under the supervision of Emergency Control Organization (ECO). Under this exercise, risk determination of a building or premises is done and an evacuation drill worked out. Briefing of evacuees is a key part of this exercise.

First Aid Training – This is a mandatory lesson for all Fire Safety Advisors. In an emergency situation first aid treatment becomes imperative for the affected till a proper medical team arrives. Fist aid techniques are useful for situations in homes, work places, parks, or any public place.

Confined Space Entry training – After going through this lesson a candidate learns the skill to enter confined spaces and conduct rescue operations safely without getting affected by hazardous substances, explosive conditions, and inflammable surroundings.

Warden Training for Emergency Control Organization – This training is specifically meant for candidates who are appointed as wardens for an emergency control organization. After competing this course candidates become part of ECO team.

General Staff Emergency Awareness Training – This is essentially a theoretical program where employees and staff in a workplace are given instructions on reacting in an emergency situation. This is extremely helpful for all organizations, big, medium, or small.
